vanessa valentin
Throughout her career, Vanessa has worked closely with CEOs, boards and leadership teams to address one of the most important drivers of organizational success: leadership. Having held senior HR leadership roles in Swiss and global industrial and technology-driven companies, she brings first-hand experience of the challenges organizations face when identifying, assessing and appointing leaders for critical roles.
Her background includes mergers and acquisitions, large-scale transformations, executive succession and governance-related people topics in industrial and technology-driven organizations. Having worked in environments shaped by post-IPO governance requirements, growth and organizational change, she has seen first-hand how decisive leadership appointments can be in shaping business outcomes. Vanessa combines business pragmatism with genuine curiosity about people and what enables them to perform, grow and contribute. She values honest conversations, thoughtful assessment and building trusted relationships. She is particularly drawn to supporting organizations and leaders through periods of change and transition.
She has lived, studied and worked across Switzerland, the UK, Germany, Italy, the United States and Australia, with responsibilities spanning Continental Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand as well as global HR operations and M&A. She holds an MSc in Human Resources from the London School of Economics and a BA in Developmental Psychology from the University of Sussex.
